This sentence is lifted from a 1940s information book for women issued by the British government. It advises those wishing to remain elegant in times of crises, to rediscover garments, pieces they love and cherish and to alter them, transform them, to prolong their use: shrunken knitted jumpers, old-fashioned dresses, suits long neglected by their husbands…
We feel that this is still relevant now. The collection suggests that one revisits their unique, personal garde-robe and reinvents it. Creates novelty from things already owned.
Today, we present a collection of past and discordant elements, full of stories and memories whose final chapter is the garments they become when worn tomorrow. Together, these pieces form an emotional and intimate arrangement, arising from sedimented eras, styles and generations.
Materials
Spandex, cool wool, cotton, cotton Alpaca, technical wool, mohair, satin silk, silk ties from Lyon, silk caddy, jacquard silk, leather.
Prints
Hand painted tie fabric, daisy printed silk georgette, silk georgette printed with a 1940s motif.
Accessories
Hand painted acetate goggle accessories, thermo-moulded leather sandals, knitted socks, “key ring” and “coat stand” bags, trompe-l’œil varnished silver daisy jewelry.

Our Barbie bathes, goes to the beach, works, exercises, walks her dog, rollerskates and snorkles. But at the end of the day, she just wants to party in something frilly.
